Screencasting 101, 102

Some time ago, O'Reilly's Digital Media published an essay by Jon Udell, "What is Screencasting." Well, Jon now has an update: "Screencasting tips," focusing more on how to tell a compelling story than on any specific tools.

Screencasting is an excellent way to convey complex ideas and processes, with your computer as media source. Add a bit of creativity (and a webcam), and you can really stretch the pedagogical envelope.
