In February, MIT'S Comparative Media Studies hosted Beyond Broadcast 2007: from Participatory Culture to Participatory Democracy. The keynote address by CMS Director Henry Jenkins looked at political uses of the Internet and other communications technologies. Fascinating and well-researched.
